Vice Presidential Nominee, Senator JD Vance, will deliver remarks on the economy in Macon, Georgia on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 1:00PM EDT.
As a result of the disastrous policies of the Kamala Harris and Joe Biden administration, Georgians are struggling to support their families. With inflation over 21%, Georgia families are spending an average of over $1000 more a month on basic goods like gas and groceries and have lost $28,502 on average due to Kamala’s economic policies.
Kamala Harris says inflation will be a “Day One” priority, but her “Day One” was three and a half years ago. The Harris-Biden Administration created inflation, and Georgians know putting Kamala back in charge won’t do anything to fix it. While Democrats pay lip service to Georgia workers, families and farmers, President Trump and Senator JD Vance are the only pair offering commonsense solutions for the kitchen table issues that continue to be top of mind for Georgians.

UMW Poll: Presidential Race Too Close To Call in Virginia
Good afternoon,
In case you missed it, the poll that first forecast Glenn Youngkin’s upset victory in Virginia’s 2021 gubernatorial race shows a margin-of-error contest for the commonwealth’s 13 Electoral Votes in this year’s presidential contest.
University of Mary Washington’s Center for Leadership and Media Studies today released results from its poll of Virginia voters showing Vice President Kamala Harris and President Donald J. Trump locked in a too-close-to-call contest, 47% for Harris-Walz and 46% for Trump-Vance among likely voters. Among all survey respondents, the poll showed the contest tied at 44%. The poll has a margin of error of 4.1% among likely voters.
“This new survey suggests Virginia should be getting a much closer look from both presidential campaigns,” said Stephen J. Farnsworth , professor of political science at the University of Mary Washington and director of UMW’s Center for Leadership and Media Studies. “Virginia may deserve to be treated as a ‘swing state’ once again this year.”
“While Virginia hasn’t gone red for the presidential ticket in 20 years, the latest University of Mary Washington poll shows the Trump-Vance ticket is positioned to break this pattern. In September of 2021, the UMW poll was the first to correctly predict the outcome of the Republican gubernatorial victory — the UMW poll released today is a warning sign for Democrats — and is once again showing the tides have turned in favor of President Trump. With 46 days left, Team Trump is doubling down our efforts to reach voters and flip Virginia, for the first time since 2004.”
