Ortiz Joins Trump & Hispanic Leaders at Signing of Executive Order Launching Initiative
Washington, DC (July 9, 2020) — Today, President Trump appointed Alfredo Ortiz, President, and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), to be a commissioner on the White House Hispanic Prosperity Initiative. Mr. Ortiz joined President Trump and Hispanic leaders at the signing of the executive order launching the initiative and participated in a roundtable with them.
Mr. Ortiz released the following statement:
“It’s an honor to serve the President on the White House Hispanic Prosperity Initiative. President Trump has done more to advance Hispanic economic opportunity than any president in history. His pro-growth policies sent the Hispanic unemployment rate to an all-time low and spurred record entrepreneurship and small business creation among Hispanic-Americans. The pandemic is a temporary setback, and we are poised to enjoy a ‘V-shaped’ recovery, thanks in large part to the President’s leadership and commitment to safely reopening America. Today, the President doubled-down on his commitment to the Hispanic-American community by launching the White House Hispanic Prosperity Initiative. This initiative will expand economic opportunity among Hispanic-Americans and help millions of them achieve the American Dream. With Joe Biden’s far-left policies threatening to turn a ‘V-shaped’ recovery’ into a ‘L-shaped’ depression, bolstering Hispanic opportunity through pro-growth policies is more important than ever.”
