House Democrats Face Fierce Backlash from Constituents Over Impeachment Sham

Across the country, House Democrats continue to face backlash from their constituents for abandoning their job to focus on a partisan impeachment sham.

Virginia’s Rep. Don Beyer (D) get skewered in deep blue Northern Virginia at local high school

Here’s a few excerpts from Dem’s disastrous town hall meetings from their very own fake-newsers:

REP. CYNTHIA AXNE IN IOWA:

“First-term U.S. congresswoman Cynthia Axne, back home in her rural Iowa district for the Thanksgiving break, faced a room full of farmers on Saturday who made clear their opposition to the impeachment investigation of Republican President Donald Trump. Axne, 54, avoided any mention of impeachment until one of her constituents, a Democrat who voted for her, said he views the investigation as a waste of time and money: ‘Let’s not vote for impeachment. Let’s get stuff done. I’m sick of it!” he bellowed. Others nodded in agreement.’”

REP. ANGIE CRAIG IN MINNESOTA:

“Craig is heading to Belle Plaine on Saturday for a town hall meeting, where she’ll likely hear more from voters like Emily Franco, who are opposed to the impeachment hearings. ‘I feel like there’s a lot of bigger things to worry about than silly nonsense,’ Franco said from her dog grooming business in downtown Belle Plaine, noting that there’s little information that could come out that could sway her otherwise.”

REP. MIKIE SHERRILL IN NEW JERSEY:

“‘We sent you to Washington,’ a woman began, ‘to get work done, for us and for our country, and it appears that for the last couple years all that has been going on is investigations.’ Sitting in the front, I could almost feel people’s shoulders tense up. Everybody knew what was coming. The towheaded scouts had filed to the back. The adults had the floor now. And impeachment was in the air. ‘We honestly,’ the woman continued, ‘can’t trust Adam Schiff …’”

REP. DON BEYER IN VIRGINIA:

“Democratic Rep. Don Beyer took heat from supporters of President Donald Trump during a town hall meeting in the suburbs of Washington, D.C, Thursday night. Hundreds of people packed into a high school auditorium in Beyer’s deep blue northern Virginia district, where numerous backers of the president spoke out against the impeachment proceedings. One man equated the process to a partisan coup d’etat. ‘We should start doing the people’s work’ and drop the investigation, he said.”
