More Than 24,700 Join Sanders at Rallies in San Jose and Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES – Days before the California Primary on March 3, Sen. Bernie Sanders on Sunday spoke to more than 24,700 Californians at rallies in Los Angeles and San Jose.
The massive crowds follow news that campaign volunteers have knocked on over 1 million doors and made more than 6.5 million phone calls to California voters.
“Our campaign has built a multiracial, multigenerational working class movement across California,” said Rafael Návar, Bernie 2020 California State Director. “Our supporters and our volunteers across the state are what drives this campaign, and we have the energy and excitement to do very well here in California.”
In San Jose, Sanders was joined on stage by Jack Johnson, Rep. Ro Khanna, Eve Ensler, Karen Chu, Gloria Esteva, and Gloria Esteva
Sanders was joined on stage in Los Angeles by Public Enemy Radio, Dr. Jane Sanders, Dick Van Dyke, Sarah Silverman, Patrisse Cullors, Marisa Franco, and Bonnie Castillo.
